TO KNOW

Choose your formula: self-guided or guided

Do you want to ride independently, with maps and logistical support? Or would you prefer to ride in a group with a guide to show you the way? You can choose between a self-guided or guided tour.

Have you ever tried a bike and barge tour?

Cycle during the day and sleep in a comfortable cabin, yours for the week: you don’t have to repack every night, and if you don’t want to pedal one day… you can stay on board! Learn more about bike and barge tours.

Itineraries for all

We offer tours with completely flat routes and short stages, and others that are longer and more hilly, sometimes including more challenging climbs. In designating the level of each trip, we also consider the possibility of skipping or shortening the stages, to give you the option of an easier day.

Find out the right level for you.

Tours

Cycling tours (30 tours)

A cycling vacation to enjoy landscapes and fresh air, with an itinerary in stages that is always varied and organized: end-of-stage accommodations are booked, luggage is transported, you receive your rental bike on site, and in case of mishaps you can count on our assistance.

Bike and barge (28 tours)

A vacation along rivers, canals and coastal routes, with cycling days and overnight stays on a boat, a real hotel-float that follows cyclists stage by stage. Your cabin will be yours all week, breakfasts and dinners are served on board, where the captain and crew await you. And if one day you don’t want to ride…you can stay on board! Find our more about our bike and barge tours.

Themes

For families (6 tours)

Our family-friendly tours average 35 km per day on bike paths and roads away from traffic, with plenty of opportunities for breaks: villages, museums, castles, as well as playgrounds, adventure parks, beaches, and farms. By staying in family rooms, children and teens pay less. You can rent bikes and accessories suitable for transporting even the youngest children. Doesn’t it sound like a great idea for a family adventure? Discover more about cycle trips for families.

Assistance

Luggage transportation
Traveling light makes all the difference! All travel itineraries come with our signature luggage transport service: simply leave your bags at the front desk each morning and we’ll drop them off at your next lodging.

Tour information
We’ll send you all the tour information before you set off on your adventure. It contains practical information, instructions on how to reach the starting point, a list of hotels, and answers to frequently asked questions. For our self-guided tours, we’ll also hand over detailed maps and roadbooks, in either physical or digital format, so you can follow the route on your own.
No need to worry about figuring out which turn to take if you opted for one of our group trips; in this case, your chaperone will gladly tell you where to go next!

Need help?
We plan your trip carefully to prevent any mishaps, but in case you need assistance, we’re available for support 7 days a week, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

This bike and barge trip was a perfect way to see Provence. The route took us through areas that were filled with ancient sites, vineyards, farmland, and small villages that you would not see going any other way. The crew was amazing, the food fantastic with great presentation. The bikes are well maintained and makes riding easy. We rode the electric bikes. The barge L’Estella is well maintained with a nice gathering area. However the cabins are small, but did have good storage. I highly recommend Girolibero for this bike trip!
