Tours

Italy (23 tours)

If you dream of visiting Italy on a bike, then fall might be the perfect season to make it a reality. Picture yourself cycling along the stunning and less crowded coastline of Salento or through the picturesque hills of Tuscany, while enjoying the mild and pleasant temperatures. You can even admire the Dolomites and the vineyards in the countryside during the grape and apple harvest.

France (1 tour)

A bike tour in France is always a great idea, but the country in the fall offers a magical atmosphere. As the holidays of many visitors end at the beginning of the school year, you have the whole month of September to explore the charming Loire Valley and its castles without the peak season crowds.

Greece and Croatia (6 tours)

Who said Greece and Croatia are only summer destinations? Visiting these countries in September and October has many advantages, including fewer tourists on the beaches and cooler temperatures that allow you to enjoy interesting cities, like Athens, Trogir, or Dubrovnik, but also a few more dips in the crystal clear waters.

Also, did you know you can start in Venice and cycle to Croatia?

Holland and Belgium (5 tours)

These two top cycling destinations are worth visiting all year round. However, when the summer heat and crowds are diminishing and the days are transitioning into soft light, you might just find the ideal time of year to embark on a bike and barge tour.

Start off in Amsterdam and explore the traditional architecture of Hanseatic towns, or pedal your way to historic Bruges, Ghent, and Antwerp in Flanders.

This bike and barge trip was a perfect way to see Provence. The route took us through areas that were filled with ancient sites, vineyards, farmland, and small villages that you would not see going any other way. The crew was amazing, the food fantastic with great presentation. The bikes are well maintained and makes riding easy. We rode the electric bikes. The barge L’Estella is well maintained with a nice gathering area. However the cabins are small, but did have good storage. I highly recommend Girolibero for this bike trip!
